Miguel Molina González is the Spanish driver born in Lloret de Mar,
Gerona, and is 35 years old. He is a driver related to the world of motor
racing since he was very young, taking his first steps in karting, where he won
his first championships when he was only nine years old and since then he has
not stopped. He participated in Formula Renault 1.6, Eurocup Formula Renault
2.0, Spanish Formula 3 Championship, Formula Renault 3.5 or Superleague Formula
until he switched to touring cars.
Spanish motorsport is part of this new chapter in the history of the 24
Hours of Le Mans in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) thanks to Miguel
Molina.
On 15 and 16 June, he was proclaimed the winner of the 24 Le Mans races.
It was in the top Hypercar category, with Miguel Molina as part of the Ferrari
AF Corse team. As last year, the team also included Danish driver Nicklas
Nielsen, and Italian Antonio Fuoco: all three were crowned Le Mans champions
wearing the number 50 on their Ferrari 499P car, after finishing fifth a year
ago. Rain and a safety car for more than four hours overnight had a major
impact on the race, but in the end Molina and his team-mates were able to
successfully complete the race by making one stop less than their rivals.
Last June, Miguel was able to visit the Santogal Ferrari Madrid
facilities and get a first-hand look at the standards of quality and excellence
of the Official Ferrari Dealership in Madrid.
The legendary Le Mans winner was able to share his victory with the
entire Santogal Ferrari Madrid team, as well as share a private lunch with
Santogal customers and hold several meetings with the Spanish media.
