Elegance, cutting-edge engineering and an exclusive atmosphere. This was
the scene at the eagerly awaited presentation of the new Ferrari Amalfi at the
Santogal Ferrari dealership in Madrid, an event that brought together 140
guests, including customers, fans of the brand and leading figures from the
world of motoring and luxury.
The evening event, held on 21 November, transformed the dealership into
a sophisticated space that reflected the essence of the new model: refined
sportiness and Mediterranean spirit. Attendees enjoyed a luxurious cocktail
party accompanied by background music, lighting effects evoking the Amalfi
coast, and a carefully designed setting that highlighted the lines and details
of the Prancing Horse brand's new GT.
The new Ferrari Amalfi is a 2+ berlinetta coupé with a front-mounted V8
turbo engine, combining elegance and perfect proportions inspired by the
Ferrari Roma, but with a touch of innovation. As a new feature, its interior
features a dual cockpit concept with a new central display, sophisticated,
modern and minimalist, a concept very similar to that found in its big brother,
the Ferrari 12cilindri. The Ferrari Amalfi is equipped with a 640 hp V8 turbo
engine, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and from 0 to
200 km/h in 9.0 seconds, with a top speed of 320 km/h. The 2+ configuration
allows the rear seats to be used to increase practicality or extend boot
capacity.
The most eagerly awaited moment of the evening came with the official
unveiling of the Ferrari Amalfi, whose silhouette remained hidden behind a
white Amalfi-coloured cloth illuminated until a countdown gave way to a play of
lights that revealed the vehicle to applause. The Amalfi, with its combination
of aerodynamic design, state-of-the-art technology and unmistakable sound,
immediately captured the attention of everyone present.
The Santogal Ferrari Madrid team, led by its managing director Luis
Pessanha, had planned a surprise for the presentation. A beautiful 1960 Ferrari
250 GT 2+2, the first Ferrari model with a 2+2 configuration in history. Past
and present took centre stage on this magical night.
At the presentation of the Ferrari Amalfi, Roberto Ottaviano, Area Sales
Manager for Ferrari West Europe, highlighted the Amalfi's role as ‘a natural
evolution of the Ferrari legacy, designed for those who seek not only to drive,
but to live an experience.’ Guests had the opportunity to get up close to the
vehicle, learn about its innovations in detail, and book exclusive test drives
for the coming weeks.
The evening concluded in a
relaxed atmosphere, with attendees raising a toast to the arrival of this new
icon from the Italian brand. Without a doubt, the presentation of the Ferrari
Amalfi at Santogal Ferrari Madrid cemented its place as one of the most notable
automotive events of the year in the Spanish capital.
